Teaching Philosophy
Finding the truth, learning about oneself, and understanding the viewpoints of others are crucial for the formation of every student. My philosophy of education is therefore primarily focused on efficient, scaffolded learning and respect for persons. I will implement personalized instruction so that all students can come to truly know themselves and the world around them. The classroom should be a place in which a meaningful sharing of ideas can take place so that everyone can search for and discover the truth. I will be committed to making certain that students are engaged in all lessons by allowing for a robust combination of movement, group time, visual and auditory aids, and direct instruction in lessons that will make content relevant to every student.
Classroom Management Philosophy
While my classroom will primarily prioritize learning the content presented, I will also create a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment for my students. Therefore, my classroom management philosophy is based on the desire for my students to be in a setting in which they can learn most efficiently and thoroughly. To maintain such an atmosphere, there must be mutual respect among all persons in the classroom. I will ensure that all students are engaged in the lesson so that they will be able to realize and internalize the significance of the content. To acquire the capacity for learning, I will put effective procedures into place that will keep the classroom organized and running smoothly.
